Welcome to my ADRIANA HANDMADE ART online store.

I'm a Tasmanian Designer and Visual Artist with a strong focus on colour and form. I have a background in Fine Arts and a passion for textiles, and am strongly influenced by contemporary Japanese Design, indigenous Australian art, as well as the bold abstract prints of the Mid-Century.

My painted artworks are mostly produced with matte acrylics on canvas panels. Inspired by the simplicity of form in patterns of the 1950's and adopting the warm colour palette from the era, I create abstract organic shapes; elements such as orbs and pods that sit balanced, anchored by overlapping lines and arcs.

I embrace modern uncluttered design with clean lines and considered strokes, often using groupings of three for a harmonious geometric feel, and arrangements of small repeated marks to create a sense of movement or texture.

I have had successful solo exhibitions since graduating from the University of Tasmania, and now casually participate in group exhibitions around Hobart. I have also sold my work through local galleries and at Salamanca Market.
